Genymotion Desktop
Genymotion Desktop virtual devices are all rooted and it is not possible to unroot them for the moment. However, we are currently developing unrooted (user builds) images.
To help us in this task, feel free to leave your suggestions at our public Github discussions page.
In the meantime, you may try to use Xposed/EdXposed/LSPosed/Magisk to hide root from apps. To install them, please refer to How to install Xposed/EdXposed/LSPosed + Magisk with Genymotion Desktop?
Genymotion SaaS
Genymotion SaaS uses the same virtual devices as Genymotion Desktop: they are also rooted and cannot be unrooted yet.
However, you may try using Xposed/EdXposed/LSPosed/Magisk. To install them, see How to install and use Xposed/EdXposed/LSPosed + Magisk with Genymotion SaaS?
Genymotion Device Image
We have recently released an Android 10 image for AWS, GCP, Alibaba and Azure with a new dynamic rooting/unrooting feature.
