Genymotion Desktop
ARM translation tools can only interpret x86/x86_64 into armv7 (32-bit). Therefore, it is not possible to run ARM64 applications, even with ARM translation tools, if you are using Genymotion Desktop on a PC (Windows/Linux).
However, mac M1 & M2 series use an arm64 CPU (Apple Silicon) and we have developed a native arm64 Android 10 image for this system.
This means that it is possible to install and run ARM64 apps natively if you use Genymotion Desktop on a mac M1/M2.
Genymotion SaaS
Genymotion SaaS images are x86 or x86_64; this means that running ARM apps require ARM translation tools. Unfortunately, these tools cannot interpret x86/x86_64 into arm64.
It is not possible to install or run ARM64 apps on Genymotion SaaS for the moment.
Genymotion Device Image
We offer Genymotion Device Image Android 8.0 (Oreo), 9.0 (Pie), 10, 11, 12 and 12.1 images which run on ARM64 virtual machines on AWS and Alibaba.
Those images can run applications for arm (armv7) and arm64/aarch64 (armv8) "out of the box".
