I can't find Google Play Store. Where is it?

Google Play Store and Services are not pre-installed on the virtual devices. You need to use Genymotion Open GApps install built-in feature to get them.

Warning

Installing the Open GApps manually with a package from opengapps.org website is not supported and will likely fail or corrupt your device. Also, you will not find any packages for Android 12 and above on the official website. Please use Genymotion built-in feature instead, as described below.

Genymotion Desktop

  1. Click the Open GApps button in the right-side toolbar:

  2. Read the disclaimer carefully and click ACCEPT to start the installation:
     

    Open GApps disclaimer.

  3. The OpenGApps package will be automatically downloaded and flashed. You then, need to reboot the device to complete the installation. Click RESTART NOW or RESTART LATER, if you wish to reboot later:
     

    Reboot device prompt to finalize the installation.

     The device will reboot and a webpage to the Open GApps website will be opened.

Google Play Store is now installed on the device. It can be found in Android's App Drawer:

Genymotion SaaS (Cloud)

  1. Access the virtual device display and open the INSTALL APPS widget in the right-side toolbar:

  2. Click INSTALL GAPPS in the widget window:

  3. Read the disclaimer carefully and click INSTALL GAPPS to accept and start the automatic installation:

  4. When flashing is complete, click RESTART DEVICE to reboot and complete the installation:

Google PlayStore is now installed on the instance. It can be found in Android's App Drawer:

Genymotion Device Image (PaaS)

  1. In the instance UI, navigate to Device Content and, in the Packages section, click INSTALL next to the Open GApps package:

  2. A popup will appear, click INSTALL again to accept the disclaimer and proceed:

    The Open GAPPs package will automatically be deployed on the instance. When done, you will be prompted to reboot the device.

  3. Reboot the instance:

    Open GApps installation confirmation popup with "Reboot" button.

  4. Google Play Store is now installed on the device and can be found in Android's App Drawer:
