From Genymotion Desktop 3.3.0 onward, it is possible to use QEMU hypervisor instead of VirtualBox. QEMU utilizes Hyper-V: if you do not wish to disable it, you can switch to QEMU hypervisor. Please note that QEMU support is still experimental and there are known issues on Windows systems.
To use Genymotion Desktop properly with VirtualBox, we strongly advise disabling Hyper-V. To do so:
- Go to Control Panel → Programs → Turn Windows features on or off
- Uncheck Hyper-V in Windows feature:
- Click OK
- Windows Feature will apply the changes and ask you to restart. Click Restart Now to reboot the PC and apply the changes.
