If you get one of the following issue:
- The application does not appear in Google Play Store
- Google Play Store displays the error "Your device isn't compatible with this version"
Try the following:
1. Use an unrooted Android image
Some apps and games can only be installed and run if the device is not rooted. To fix this, make sure to use an unrooted Android image.
For more information, please refer to this article: Is it possible to un-root or hide root?
2. Use Genymotion Desktop on mac M, or use a Cloud device (Genymotion SaaS)
Genymotion Desktop virtual devices architecture is x86/x86_64 on PC and old Mac Intel, and arm64 on Mac M.
If your application is not available in Google Play Store with Genymotion Desktop on PC or Mac Intel, it may also mean that the application/game you are trying to install is only available for arm64.
In that case, your only options are either to:
- Use Genymotion Desktop on an Apple Mac M computer.
- Use a cloud device via Genymotion SaaS. See How to use a Cloud device in Genymotion Desktop?
For more information, please refer to How to run applications and games for arm (arm64)?
3. Google Play Store detects Genymotion
If none of the above helped, it is highly probable that Google Play Store detects the device as an emulator.
To workaround this, try using Aurora Store instead of Google Play Store. For detailed instructions, please refer to this article: How to install and setup Aurora Store on Genymotion?
