Your firewall is too restrictive
If you have a firewall, make sure that connections for local network 192.168.56.0/24 are allowed. For more information, see Genymotion Desktop and firewalls
You use a VPN or Global Protect
If you have a VPN, make sure that connections for local network 192.168.56.0/24 are not redirected. For more information, see Genymotion Desktop and VPN
Your GPU does not match Genymotion Desktop requirements
See Genymotion Desktop hardware requirements
Windows
You are using a laptop or notebook with a discrete and an integrated GPU (e.g. Intel/Nvidia or Intel/AMD)
On this type of hardware, the Intel integrated GPU does not provide good OpenGLES support on Windows, which often results in crashes at start or poor performance.
To fix this, you need to force Genymotion Desktop to use the high-profile discrete NVIDIA/AMD GPU
To do so, please refer to How to configure NVIDIA Optimus and AMD Switchable Graphics for high performance with Genymotion Desktop (Windows)?
Your PC/laptop has an Intel UHD/HD integrated GPU
Genymotion Desktop has compatibility issues with Intel UHD/HD GPU on Windows, because of limited support of OpenGLES from Intel UHD/HD drivers for Windows. For more details, see The virtual device crashes, freezes or fails to boot on Windows
Your display drivers are not up-to-date
Upgrade your display drivers to their latest stable version.
Linux
Nvidia open source drivers
Genymotion requires advanced OpenGL extensions which are not well supported by the open-source drivers "nouveau" for Nvidia GPUs. You need to use Nvidia proprietary drivers instead.
